The breaking news reaching us right now is that the Cross River state government has cancelled the April monthly sanitation due to the ongoing 2025 UTME exercise.
The Cross River State Government has suspended its monthly sanitation exercise for April to ensure a smooth 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for candidates across the state.
This decision comes as part of efforts to support the over two million Nigerian students, including those in Cross River, who are currently writing the UTME in 887 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
The UTME, organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), began on Thursday, April 24, 2025, a day earlier than initially planned, to accommodate important national commitments.
The examination will run until May 5, 2025, giving candidates the chance to compete for admission into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across Nigeria.
