Candidates Commend JAMB For Smooth Conduct of 2025 UTME

JAMB UTME Candidates

Candidates across Nigeria have praised JAMB for the smooth conduct of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The examination, which started on Thursday, April 24, and will end on Monday, May 5, is taking place in 887 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

Over two million candidates are participating this year, aiming to secure admission into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in Nigeria.

In Awka, candidates shared positive experiences about the examination process.

Sella Maris Nwattah, Gloria Onuora, and Chukwujekwu Evans, who wrote their exams at centres in Awka, described the exercise as hitch-free.

They were impressed with how well the centres managed the process, from accreditation to the actual examination.

However, they expressed surprise at the common belief that the JAMB examination is difficult to pass.

“The exam was not as tough as people made it seem,” said Gloria Onuora.

“Everything went smoothly, and I’m hopeful for a good result,” added Chukwujekwu Evans.

Despite attempts to get comments from JAMB supervisors in Awka, they were unavailable to speak.

The Anambra State JAMB Coordinator, Mrs Jema Iheme, also declined to share statistics on the number of candidates in the state when approached by ABS.

However, the overall feedback from candidates nationwide has been positive, with many appreciating JAMB’s efforts to create a conducive exam environment.
